We explored the changing seasons by making our own autumn leaves. First we looked at pictures and talked about the different coloured leaves we could see. Next we went on a nature walk and collected our very own Autumn leaves. Then we ripped up our leaves using our fine motor skills and stuck them onto out the leaf outlines.
We really enjoyed our parents coming to see how we learn.
Our focus in the morning was maths. We measured the height of the towers we built, counted how many legs we had drawn on our monsters and made pictures using shapes outside.
In the afternoon we focused on expressive arts and design. We retold the Colour Monster story using our puppet show. We cut out faces for the colour monsters and made our own plate monsters too!
